Biotics Research Melatonin-B6/Mg 60 Tablets:

Melatonin-B6/Mg (Healthy Sleep).

Indications: Melatonin is an indole neurohormone secreted by the pineal gland and referred to as the “biological time keeper”. It functions to maintain the body’s circadian rhythm, possesses antioxidant properties, and plays a role in the biologic regulation of sleep, mood, and possibly reproduction and aging.

B6 functions as a catalyst in numerous other enzymes and plays a role in the synthesis of mood related markers.

Magnesium is included for its functional role in many processes, including structural (fluidity and stability of phospholipid bilayers, etc) and dynamic (cofactor or allosteric modulator of enzyme activities).

Indicated to increase total sleep time (aspect of sleep quality) in people suffering from sleep restriction or altered sleep schedule. May help to reduce jet lag and to reduce the time it takes to fall asleep, to re-set the body\'s sleep-wake cycle (aspect of circadian rhythm). May help to metabolize carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Also may be indicated for Tinnitus.

Ingredients: Melatonin 3 mg, B-6 (p-5-p) 10 mg, Magnesium glycinate 50 mg.

Suggested Dose: Take 1/2 tablet once a day or at bedtime or as directed by your health care practitioner.
