Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve restlessness and/or nervousness (sedative and/or calmative). (Traditionally) used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve the pain associated with menstruation. Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help ease nervous tension (calmative). Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve premenstrual symptoms. (Used in Herbal Medicine to) help(s) relieve symptoms associated with menopause.

Wild Yam root & rhizome 2:1 extract DHE: 400 mg
from Dioscorea villosa root & rhizome

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Calcium phosphate dibasic, Cellulose, Hypromellose, Magnesium stearate, Maltodextrin, SilicaSodium starch glycolate.

Suggested Adults Dose: Adults take 1-2 tablets daily.

Cautions : Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet light (UV) or UV therapy. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are on vasodilators (dilate the vascular system to treat heart conditions), and any product to treat atrial fibrillation (a heart rhythm disorder), anti hypertensives (for high blood pressure). anti-anxiety and/or antidepressants, anti seizure products, antihistamines, bronchodilators, muscle relaxants and/or opiates; if you have a liver disorder or if you have diabetes. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you are taking medications for anti-cancer, blood thinners, antidepressants, anti-HIV agents, cardiovascular, immunosuppressants, and/or contraceptive, if you have female endocrine conditions such as uterine, endometrial, breast or ovarian cancer as well as endometriosis and uterine fibroids, if you have a protein S deficiency as wild yam may increase the risk of thrombosis, or a seizure disorder (e.g. epilepsy). Hypersensitivity, such as an allergy, has been known to occur; and some people may experience mild gastrointestinal disturbances, nausea, insomnia, restlessness and/or headaches in which case, discontinue use.
