Sambucol Cold & Flu 24 Capsules:

(Vitamin C) A factor in the maintenance of good health. Helps the body to metabolize fats and proteins. Helps in the development and maintenance of bones, cartilage, teeth and gums. Helps in connective tissue formation. Helps in wound healing. An antioxidant for the maintenance of good health. Helps to prevent vitamin C deficiency.

(Zinc) A factor in the maintenance of good health. Helps in connective tissue formation. Helps to maintain healthy skin. Helps the body to metabolize carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Helps to maintain immune function.

Ingredient:

Non-medicinal ingredients: Beeswax yellow, C.I. No. 42090, Caramel, FD&C Red #3, FD&C red  #40, Gelatin, Lecithin, Maltodextrin, Medium chain triglycerides, Silicon dioxide.

Suggested Dose: Adults take 2 capsules twice daily.

Cautions: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Diuretic effect may occur. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use: if you are taking immunosuppressants, if you have an autoimmune disorder, if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and/or HIV infection, if you have asthma or peptic ulcer disease, if you are taking anticoagulants or products containing ASA or similar derivatives. Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you if you are allergic to products containing ASA or similar derivatives. Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) can occur, in which case, discontinue use. Rare cases of severe allergic reactions have been known to occur; use caution if you are allergic to plants of the Daisy family. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you experience gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain or cramps, dyspepsia, heartburn or diarrhea. Zinc supplementation can cause a copper deficiency.
