St Francis Elecampane 250 Ml:

(Inula helenium).

Used in Herbal Medicine as an expectorant to help relieve chest complaints, such as catarrhs, coughs and bronchitis.

Medicinal Ingredients (per 1 ml): Inula helenium (Elecampane) 250 mg, DHE Extract (1:4 ).

Non-Medicinal Ingredients:

Alcohol, Distilled water.

Administration: Oral.

• Adults & Adolescents (15 & over): 2 ml 3 times daily. 
• Adolescents (10-14 years): 1 ml 3 times daily.
• Children (4-9 years): 0.5 ml 3 times daily.

Cautions and Warnings: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen or persist. Consult a health care practitioner if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This product contains 50% ethanol (alcohol), i.e. up to 394 mg per dosage unit, which is equivalent to 10 ml of beer or 4 ml of wine, per milliliter. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have an alcohol related disease, liver disease, epilepsy, diabetes or hypertension.

Contra-Indications: Do not give to children if they are taking any other medications, unless on the advice of a health care practitioner. Do not give this product to children less than 12 years of age for more than one week, unless on the advice of a health care practitioner.

Known Adverse Reactions: Rare cases of severe allergic reactions have been known to occur; use caution if you are allergic to plants of the Daisy (Asteraceae) family. Discontinue use if any impairment of motor coordination or attention is noticed.
