Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as an antiseptic and/or antimicrobial to help treat and heal minor skin wounds, cuts, burns and bruises.
St. John's Wort Oil - Dampening the Deeper Pain of Skin Wounds and Injuries
Made from the flowering tops of St. John’s wort infused in extra-virgin olive oil, this herbal ointment has been regarded from time immemorial as a first-rate topical treatment for burns, bruises, inflammations, hemorrhoids, varicose veins, skin injuries and muscle pain, not to mention earaches.
Called “arnica for the nerves”, the keynote of St. John’s Wort Oil is its special usefulness for painful, neuralgic injuries, a feature so evident that it was noted by physicians like Hippocrates and Theophrastus even way back in classical antiquity.
Medicinal Ingredients (per 1 ml):
0.4 grams of fresh Certified Organic St. John's Wort flowers (Hypericum perforatum L. (Hypericaceae/Clusiaceae))
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Certified Organic Gargano Gold® Extra-Virgin Olive Oil, unscented Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) extract
Administration:
Adults, adolescents and children: Apply 1-2 ml to affected area(s) as needed.
